Doll Artisan Guild School of Dollmaking (DAGSD)
A short guided tour through the various titles given by the DAGSD.
Earn: 25 certificates or more and 6 medallions by going through our school. Read through each level to see what you need to do. For detail information, click on “Earn titles as you work your way to excellent dollmaking”
START HERE:
Level 0:
Become a member of the Doll Artisan Guild
Become a member by subscribing to the Doll Artisan, Dollmaking or Puppenmachen magazines.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Level I:
Certified Doll Artisan and/or Certified Modern Doll Artist
9 days
Take Apprentice I, II and III (3 seminars) or Beautiful Doll 1, 2 and 3 (3 seminars)
Each seminar runs 3 days.
Certified Seeley Doll Products Teacher and/or Certified Modern Doll Art Products Teacher
Take a 1-day review and ˝ day exam called the
Doll Artisan/Modern Doll Artist Proficiency Exam (DAPE/MDAPE)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Level II:
D.A.G. Master of Dollmaking (MDM)
Enroll now in DAGSD MDM program. You may double MDM and earn both Modern and/or Classic MDM titles.
15 points/15 days of Specialty Seminars
Red ribbon on doll in DAG Competition (Authentic reproduction or DDP)
If blue ribbon – graduate “with Honors”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Level III:
D.A.G. Grand Master of Dollmaking (GMDM) and/or
D.A.G. Doctor of Dollmaking (DDM)
(D.A.G. Laureate of Dollmkaing in Europe)
Enroll now for Level III title. You may earn two GMDM titles.
15 points/15 days of Specialty Seminars
Blue ribbon on doll (Authentic reproduction for GMDM or DDM, or DDP for GMDM)
Dollmakers over 70 years of age, request special rules.
Doctoral project required for DDM only.

D.A.G. Triple Crown of Dollmaking (TCDM)
Enroll now for highest title.
